Chris feels old, and a certain someone has to go and rub it in. Then again, when you look as good as he does at 900+ years old, then why not?
Don’t worry, I had a long weekend with the in-laws, and have been cracking on getting new material done, which I should start scanning up and getting online later today.
Also, I’ve been busy planning stuff out for SDCC this year. Still deliberating the cosplay to webcomic whoring/self-promotion ratio, and so far it’s leaning in favour of whoring out the webcomic and doing self-promotion. But, it’s early days right now.
Wow, three hundred strips under the belt, and many more storylines and strips getting ready to launch.
There’s gonna be some changes, things are gonna grow and there’s going to be some surprises and more coming within the year and into the next.
Here’s to 300 strips, and here’s to the next 300!

Chris is finding that with age comes another issue. The question is, can he suck it up or have to suck it in?
Supposedly, there was a 5.0 earthquake in the Los Angeles area on Sunday. The odd thing was that I never felt it. I guess I was too engrossed in watching Star Trek at my local movie theatre.
And, yes, te movie was freaking AWESOME, and that’s something coming from someone who’s no longer a fan of the franchise. I highly recommend it to anyone, and I’ll gladly see the movie more times and I already have a space ready for it’s Blu-Ray release.
I know that for years I have had not much good to say about the franchise known as “Star Trek“, but today it all changes.
I finally got to see the new Star Trek movie, and I loved it. The joy and the wonder I felt when I was a small boy when I first saw Star Trek returned. It was as if the young me came back to life and started bouncing around in the theatre seat from the very beginning to the very end.
Everything felt right. The casting was spot on and the nods to the past and in-jokes felt pitch perfect.
Let it be known I’m itching to go see it again. This is Star Trek, no matter what small vocal minority may say. If you’ve not yet seen it, go see it. Then when it shows up on DVD and Blu-Ray, then get that, too.
Oh, and by the way, there’s no strip on Monday, as I’ll be hunting cookies in Solvang, CA. I need my fix of danish cookies, by the crate-load.
And, before I forget. Today was my birthday.
San Diego Comic-Con draws another month closer, and I’m starting to get pre-game jitters. I can’t make up my mind what costumes to take, or if I should not cosplay this year. I need to whore out this comic and do some promoting, too.
But what really has creeped up without warning is my birthday, this weekend. I turn another year older. And this coming week, so does Chris (whom I gave a close birthday to mine, so I can use my own post year older feelings).
