There’s been quite a lot of bad PR about Transformers 2, and many fans seem to hate this one worse than the first Bay shafting. But, as we say out here, “What did you expect from Michael Bay?” All boom and no substance.
I’m still getting over my cold, and have been spending a little too much time playing the new Ghostbusters game, which I am rolling through at a steady rate.
Anyhow, I am working on strips, its just taking me longer than I liked, due to my illness causing me to take long breaks and rest. Bear with me, as I have some ideas which I am holding back on, until the San Diego Comic-con strips, one of which still has me cracking up just thinking about it.
But I am working on more strips, and I am trying to beat this cold and get back into full action.
In retribution for his bizarre nightmare, Chris seeks out Hollywood Superman for a taste of swift revenge.
This week I’ve been under the influence of a cold, and it’s caused me to hit a wall of tiredness. I’ve been forcing myself into action on the days where I have to run the booth (#704) down at Frank and Son Collectible Show, in City of Industry, CA. But it’s caused me to have no energy to draw strips, heck I’ve een trying to draw the follow-up strip to the latest one, for three days now.
I will get into action next week, but I plan on doing a strip for later tonight and perhaps for tomorrow, to make up for the break this week.
For a real Goth, it is a shame to have to work at Hot Topic, the haven for scene kids and those who think they’re goth, but wouldn’t know goth if it hit them, and an even bigger shame to sell anything Twilight.
Also, you may recognise Lucius as the fake vampire who tried to hit on Cheryl, sometime back.
Just a simply terrifying and amusing thought. William Shatner “singing” Heavy Metal songs.
If you can’t read the track-listing in the strip:
1. Iron Man (Black Sabbath)
2. Highway To Hell (AC/DC)
3. Mister Crowley (Ozzy Osbourne)
4. Breaking The Law (Judas Priest)
5. Run To The Hills (Iron Maiden)
6. Ace of Spades (Motorhead)
7. Symphony Of Destruction (Megadeth)
8. God of Thunder (Kiss)
9. Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N Roses)
10. Kill The King (Rainbow)
Bonus Track:
Smoke On The Water (Deep Purple)
Just imagine Shatner doing those songs. Hear him give them new meaning and strange, new life.
An unseen situation causes Chris to do the unthinkable, and send Rick away to somewhere quiet, safe and secure.
