Sorry, feeling really crappy and sick, hence a continuation of the joke from the last strip, which referenced Doctor Who – “The End of Time”, part one.
Don’t forget to watch the finale of The End of Time part two, on New Year’s Day (or Jan 2nd, if you’re in the US.)
Normal strips will resume on January 4th, that is unless the Doctor doesn’t stop The Master’s insidioous plans. Mwah! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
For those who’ve seen part one of Doctor Who – “The End of Time”, you’ll get the joke, and for those who haven’t seen it yet… it’s a huge spoiler.
and don’t forget to watch Doctor Who – “The End of Time” Part One, on Christmas Day (or Dec 26th on BBCAmerica, if you’re in the U.S.)
Have a Merry Christmas everyone and a new strip will be here on Monday 28th December.
The strip is growing, and heading out into new directions. I’m redoing old strips in the present styling and in colour, for readers to enjoy every Saturday. I also have some awesome news to share with everyone in January 2010. I’m also looking into merchandising with T-shirts and other materials.
I feel 2010 will be take-off year for Geeks – the Comic Strip, and will see the comic grow into a bigger form. Having the help and insight of Mat Nastos and Hal Hefner has been a great incentive to me and getting me to raise my personal goals and aims with this strip.
I’m really looking forward to the new year, as it’s going to be fun.
Okay, today’s cameo is not another webcomic character, but an artist, instead. No names shall be mentioned, but those in the know, will recognise the back of said artist whose miscarriage storyline was pretty well known and hated in webcomic circles. Also, he’s said to be quite a bit of a dick.
And, I assure you that no cellphone pics of male anatomy nor underage girls were involved with the making of this strip.
Subtle, or what?
Another webcomic character cameo, this time Brent Sienna of PVP-Online.
I’ve been a fan of Scott Kurtz’s work for many years, and I’ve always enjoyed the PVP webcomic. I guess it was one of the major inspirations and influences that got me hooked on starting a webcomic of my very own.
And if he’s reading: I hope you don’t mind me using Brent for a panel, Scott. And, I hope you like it.
Angela goes on the prowl, and runs into a couple of characters whom happen to be from the webcomic “Least I Could Do“.
Being a fan of LICD, I just wanted to pay tribute to the talents of Ryan Sohmer and Lar Desouza. If you haven’t checked out LICD, then you should, and also check out their other famous strip, “Looking For Group“.
I hope Ryan and Lar don’t mind me using Rayne and Issa, and I also hope they don’t mind that Issa fell into Angela’s clutches.
