Trying to get back into the groove

As hard as I try to get some strips done for this week, since my guest artist fell ill, I just cannot get into that frame of mind that allows me to create anything.

I sit here and stare at a blank comic board and find myself going blank. I just can’t seem to transmit the funny. I destroyed four boards, already, as I try to do something that turns out awful. Heck, I can’t even do a good sketch card.

It seems the Creative side of me fell asleep during my holiday, and try as I might, he just won’t wake up.

I think I’ll add some sketch cards, as a gap filler, to make up for this week. Bear with me.

Everything will be back to normal on Monday. I’ll make sure of that…

Sketch Card # 3

Okay, final gap filler. I did a quick sketch card of Matt Smith, the 11th actor to become The Doctor. Mat Nastos and I have a plan to do a whole run of Doctor Who sketch cards, and one day, I’m sure we’ll host the images online, and they may very well wind up in your hands, either via the release of new Doctor Who trading cards, or by charity auctions.
