One of the most annoying trends I’ve seen with parents who want a quick escape from their unruly crotch-spawn is to dumb them, unsupervised into comicbook stores, gaming stores and bookstores. These parents show no concern that said stores are not daycare centres, nor are they willing or care to look after said brats.

Quite a few of my friends who work in said types of stores have stated that they are more than happy to call in Child Services if some stupid parent drops one or more of their children into their stores, unattended.

So, if anyone out there has friends with children, who do this, then please let them know that comic-book, gaming and book stores are not there to serve as unpaid daycare or child drop-off centres, and if they even consider dropping their hell-spawn crotch-fruit into one, then they should expect a visit from some “friendly” Child Services employees.

You know how sometimes you text someone and claim to be doing something, just to get out of meeting them or doing something else. Just make sure to send texts when not in view of the person you’re trying to avoid.

I will not apologise, but I am sick to death of Michael Cera and the films that he “stars” in. I would take away the quotation marks, but from what I hear, it’s his co-stars who do most of the acting in his films whilst he just reacts and makes Keanu Reeves look almost like a good actor.

Nothing against the guy, himself. I hear he’s a very pleasant chap, but I am tired of him being the same damned style of character in everything he does. He’s the poster boy for the hipster legion, who the mass media seem to misguidedly think are geek, when they’re not.  He’s the face of the narcissistic, self-centred slacker crowd who spend their time in little indie-style bands, talk about what’s in, and bemoan their status in life. or what we all refer to as Hipsters.
